MikeOwl Says:

Aug 29, 2010 - Umm...funny on one level (the lotsa beer level). Weren't the Beatles already half Irish? Isn't George Harrison half Irish? Isn't John Lennon half Irish? Isn't Paul McCartney half Scottish? Didn't Ringo get death threats for being Jewish even though he is not Jewish?

robbieC971 Says:

Aug 29, 2010 - @MikeOwl john is half scottish, paul is half irish, ringo is just ringo and george is a scouser

ninioreflejo Says:

Aug 30, 2010 - LO CALIFICO , UN PELOTUDO -.-

koffeekage Says:

Aug 31, 2010 - fucking limey

OatyReading Says:

Aug 31, 2010 - Here's another question, what if Roy Zimmerman was racist?Oh wait, he is!!!

SMALLKERRYMAN Says:

Aug 31, 2010 - well, according to the way yanks view it, they ARE Irish! Second generation Irish. Americans call themselves "Irish" when they have some vague member of their family might have been from Ireland 200 years ago. And then they claim to be "Irish"!! And this guy is a prick.

TuucciZ Says:

Sep 1, 2010 - "What If the Beatles' Irishness Was Reflected In Their Music?" does not make a good title.

melarry Says:

Sep 1, 2010 - @SMALLKERRYMAN Why don't you allow Irish-Americans to speak for their own ancestry instead of being so rude as to tell them who and what they are?

razr700 Says:

Sep 1, 2010 - People it's a joke. Get over it.

mickthekindstranger Says:

Sep 1, 2010 - jesus this was painful... what if i were to post a video 'what if the beatles were kenyan?' with me doing a broad african accent? i can just imagine how fast id be branded a racist and yet its ok to say it about the irish because ' sure begosh and begorragh arent we all little guiness-drinking leprechauns living in toadstools'

mickthekindstranger Says:

Sep 1, 2010 - @melarry because whenever you hear people (usually american but not always) talk about being irish they do so in a stereotypical way thats insulting to real irish people... just because some distant ancestor of yours is irish doesnt make you irish... i have a norman name so centuries back i probably have a norman ancestor... that doesnt make me norman im still irish as i was born in irish... equally decendents of irish settlers in america are american because they were born there

melarry Says:

Sep 1, 2010 - @mickthekindstranger I have as much right to the words of my people as you do. You aren't the one who decides which words people should use. My Scots-Irish family was isolated in the Appalachians for hundreds of years while your Irish family mixed with all manner of other cultures. ;) My people use these words to describe themselves. Culture doesn't stick to real estate, it flows with a people. Whether you like it or not.

DeathShamans Says:

Sep 1, 2010 - shouldn't he have a fiddle with these songs?

Matismatt Says:

Sep 1, 2010 - @OatyReading There was no implication to inferiority of any of the race. There was a stereotypical recognizable by audience assumption that Irish song wound sound similar to what he sang. But if he would sang in the style of lullabies, it would not meant that he is a racist against nannies.

OatyReading Says:

Sep 1, 2010 - @Matismatt If he were to do a medley mocking how African Americans or Asians speak, that would be considered racist. Why is making fun of the Irish acceptable?"But if he would sang in the style of lullabies, it would not meant that he is a racist against nannies. " I think what you mean is "If he had sung in the style of lullabies, it would not mean he is against nannies."Whatever about your ideas of political correctness, your notions of grammatical correctness are atrocious.

Matismatt Says:

Sep 1, 2010 - @OatyReading I don't see your logic. Do you really think he is against Irish? Comedians use inappropriate words and mockery way worse than singing a song in the certain style. And no one calls them racists.

angels77100 Says:

Sep 1, 2010 - John and Paul were decended from Irish grandparents. Plus they came from Liverpool, which has the biggest Irish population in England. John Lennon was always accepted by the Irish as one of ours, and he himself (were he alive today) would tell you he would rather be Irish than English. I get Roy's take on this, it's funny and a very talented little piece, well put together and not to be taken seriously.

mastercheff1216 Says:

Sep 3, 2010 - @fuckthehuns1 you fucking dumb cunt ha your not even aware that yor channel has Italy as your country, you must be a thick fucking Scot

lynottlives Says:

0kidavenger0 Says:

Sep 4, 2010 - @timothymcparland123 Yes because liver pool is in Ireland right?

wildirish Says:

Sep 5, 2010 - It would be funnier if you maybe used some other band or song that hasn't got Irish roots. FAIL!!!!! ;) xx

dudeabidez Says:

Sep 5, 2010 - McCarthney once said,"Liverpool is known in Britain as the capital of Ireland.!!
